CareFirst - GHMSI
Dear Administrators, Too much of a divergence between individual and group coverages and rates. One of the best points about the ACA was leveling purchasing power of individuals to that of group plans. It was a matter of fairness, citizens are in this together. In the past COBRA rates for continuation were usury, sometimes as much as 30% over the group rate, not many participated. The ACA was a god send as the individual and group premiums were similar. The premiums per person should be the same whether you are in a group or as an individual. Thank you.
